FFSA Academy welcomes Doriane Pin for her first national title
subjects :
3rd last year, Doriane Pin has strongly dominated the French Women’s Championship 2019, winning her first FFSA Karting title.
On behalf of FFSA Academy Kartagene, Marc Berteaux is delighted with her progress and her success.
« I had the opportunity to work with Doriane as part of the FFSA Academy French Junior Championship.
Her determination and will to win were already there. She undoubtedly acquired more maturity and her performance at Angerville to win the Women’s Championship was very convincing.
I particularly appreciated her management of the entire competition and her excellent physical condition. Winning the three Finals in changing weather doesn’t happen every day.
Kartagene has helped her to seek partners to pursue her dream for several years. It’s great to see a success like the Angerville weekend, which calls for other wins. »
Doriane initially took pole position and held the lead after cleverly securing 3rd place in the Final. Slight rain complicated the situation in Final 1 on slicks, which did not prevent her from winning by more 3″.
Doriane consolidated her favourite status by winning Final 2, more than 5″ ahead of her rivals. Solidly at the top of the provisional classification at the start of Final 3, she could have been satisfied with a 7th place to take the title.
Those who know her were not surprised to see her fight a long duel with Madeline Boisson, who took the lead several times.
Five laps from the finish, Doriane settled permanently in the lead and controlled the situation until the chequered flag.
