Doriane Pin was selected to participate in the Winfield Contest at the Paul Ricard circuit. She was the youngest of the 71 contenders.
« I’m excited to have the opportunity to drive an F4 single-seater again », said Doriane.
« I learned the unique layout of the Paul Ricard circuit in excellent conditions thanks to the supervision of the instructors of the Winfield Racing School.
The driving sessions were followed by video debriefings and analysis of data acquisition. »
« We also participated in several workshops on the physical and mental aspects, and on the dynamics of the car. It was very informative! ».
With each track sessions in the Mygale/Renault FIA F4, Doriane progressed and closed the gap with the fastest.
Despite her young age, she achieved remarkable performances.
After these three exciting days, Doriane received the FIA Commission’s “Women in Motorsport” award as best female in the selection, which earned her the congratulations of F1 driver Jarno Trulli for her commitment and skills on behalf of the panel.
« I did not expect to be rewarded like this ! It motivates me even more to continue as a single-seater F4 driver. » added Doriane.
« I thank the FIA “Women in Motorsport” Commission, Winfield Racing School and FFSA Academy for these three very rewarding days. »
Doriane is also taking advantage of the weeks left before the start of the series to continue to gather new partners for her project.
There is no doubt that her performances at the Winfield Volant and the prize awarded by the FIA “Women in Motorsport” Commission will help her in her search for sponsors.
Doriane has also launched a crowdfunding campaign to which everyone can contribute on the site www.gofundme.com.
